It's hard to believe but the Labour Day Long Weekend has arrived - marking the unofficial end of the summer for many families as the kids go back to school shortly after. Even though the summer does not officially end for a few more weeks this is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the nice weather before we start to feel the nip in the air signalling that fall has arrived.

Toronto International BuskerFest at Woodbine Park
BuskerFest is a fantastic event for the entire family that helps raise proceeds to support Epilepsy Toronto charitable organization. It's spontaneous, it's outrageous; it's fun, funny and fabulous - there is literally something for everyone at the Toronto International BuskerFest for Epilepsy. The festival features spectacular circus artistry, non-verbal shows that can be understood by all, and one-of-a-kind entertainment that will have you questioning your very eyes. Music, magic and mime; feats of the impossible, and the ridiculous performed by comedians, fire jugglers, acrobats, aerial artists, clowns, daredevils, beat boxers and much more. Four days of non-stop, action-packed fun!

Fireworks at Canada's Wonderland
Catch an amazing fireworks show this year at Canada's Wonderland over the Labour Day weekend. You can spend your whole day enjoying all of their awesome rides and then once the park closes at 10pm they put on a spectacular fireworks show that last for 15 minutes. The show has a unique, custom-design that is set to an original soundtrack that you won't find anywhere else in Toronto!
More than 375 man hours go into designing and mounting the show, with 11 separate firing positions and 1,800 firing cues creating a spectacular display atop of our iconic Wonder Mountain.

Canadian International Air Show at the CNE
Each year the CNE hosts the Canadian International Air Show and this year is no different as they are celebrating the 6th annual show. One of the highlights of the entire CNE, the Air Show has been ongoing every year since 1949 allowing guests to watch a variety of planes soar over Lake Ontario for another awe-inspiring show.
This year, the aviation extravaganza will be bookended by two of North America's best aerial acrobatic jet teams as the United States Air Force Thunderbirds open the show with thrilling panache, and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds bring the performance to its dramatic finale.
The United States Air Force Thunderbirds featuring six pilots in their signature F16's return to the CNE for the first time in 15 years. This will be their only performance outside of the USA in 2018.
The afternoon comes to its final crescendo with the spectacular CF Snowbirds electrifying crowds with extraordinary aerial maneuvers performed by nine amazing pilots who come from across Canada.

Toronto Argonauts at Ivor Wynne Stadium
The Argos will once again head West to Hamilton to take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for the CFL's Labour Day Classic. The Labour Day Classic began in 1949 and pre-dates the founding of the CFL by 9 years and the matchups have remained mostly the same throughout history. The Tiger-Cats have won for past four years so you know the Argos will be putting is some extra effort which should make for an exciting game.

Ribfest at Downsview Park
Visit Toronto's Rib, Bacon & BBQ Fest Labour Day Weekend at Downsview Park for all things BBQ! They are expanding on the traditional ribfest food fare by including vendors that specialize in delicious Bacon and BBQ treats as well. Come for the food, stay for the great live entertainment and family fun.
Bring the kids and enjoy even more fun on jumping castles, the kiddie midway, live music, strolling entertainers, face painting and more. Better yet, challenge yourself on the giant rock wall or win a giant stuffed animal for your favourite person. Best of all, hardcore foodies can enjoy celebrity chef demonstrations and sample some of Toronto's best food vendors.
